Did I read it right that the 32 gb 4S was going
to be discontinued? Hope this isn't true
because I was going to upgrade my 4 to that phone.

It is just a new name for the new headset which will come with the iPhone 5
and the iPod Touch 5 devices. It is also available for $30 or $35 as a
separate purchase if you want to use it with your existing iDevice.
Apparently it's better quality with a larger remote.
