I used the Balance app for several years, and it did indeed work
great with VoiceOver. However, over a year ago, although I can't
remember which ones now, a couple of the entry fields didn't
quite work as before. Thus, to get some things into the program,
I had to close it and open it again when wanting to enter more
than one transaction at a time.
So, although I still do have the Balance app on my iPhone 6S
running iOS 10.1.1, I have switched to another checkbook program,
and only keep the older one around to have access to my past
transaction history. The app I use now isBalance My Checkbook,
Check Register With Sync

Looks like it costs $7.99 in the US app store, and it now
requires iOS 9.0 or later. The sync feature referred to is
subscription based and optional. I did try it for one month when
I had more than one iPhone; and, although it worked great, I now
only have one iPhone and thus opted not to renew. Besides,
restoring from iCloud or iTunes, or using the backup and restore
features the program offers, makes the sync part of the program
only a convenience feature for me on those occasions when I
happen to have more than one phone. Now, here's the app

I have an app that I have been using for years. It is called

is a banking app and works beautifully with voice over.

have received a message that says something like:
"This app may slow down your iPhone. The developer needs to
update it."
I think the developer no longer exists. Should I delete it? If
so, are
there any other good banking apps for recording transactions and
balances?
Are these apps becoming less necessary, since I guess most

can alert you when transactions happen on your account?
