The who is near me is simply a voice interface to the find friends app. So it will find people you have added to that app. Jonathan

One drawback of a "who is near me" command is that it most likely would have to be a feature that is enabled by each person -- in other words, the person would have to be willing to share their location (broadcast it, actually) in order to make themselves findable. Not everyone is comfortable with doing that. Does this capability currently exist in iOS or even Android? I know that the ability exists to transmit one's location at a given address. But is it possible yet to narrow that down to "broadcasting where we are in a large room, so others in the room can find us"? Thanks this is great I see quite a number of good commands that are new to the system. Possibility of future evolution? Does anyone else on the list considering our group take note of the who is near me command? I assume naturally that will only work at this time with folks who have iPhones, but the future possibilities for us blind folks are quite interesting. No more wondering around trying to find one another at a gathering.
