I tried iDentifi on a letter from British Columbia Medical Services. I had earlier read the same letter with KNFB Reader with almost perfect accuracy. iDentifi was also very good, maybe not quite as good as KNFB Reader and it took longer for the text to be recognized, but for a free app this is very nice. The drawback of course is that there is no easy way to save the recognized text, using the 3-finger quadruple tap to copy what Voiceover spoke to the clipboard is OK for short passages, but this features has its limitations. I guess we'll see if he will add a way to save the text down the road. As somebody who also has KNFB Reader I doubt I will use iDentifi for doing OCR, but for people who don't have KNFB Reader and don't want to spend the money it is great.
