I am not sure if you can save podcast files to Dropbox through the native podcast app, but I do know that it can be done through Downcast. To save a podcast episode in Downcast: * On the screen that contains a list of episodes for a podcast, after each episode you will see a more details button. Double tap on this button. * On the next screen, swipe down until you get to the export button. * When you double tap the export button, you will get a pop up screen. Swipe until you get to copy to storage provider and double tap. * This will bring up a screen to choose which storage provider you want to export too. Be sure you have Dropbox on your device. Dropbox should be one of the choices, so double tap it. * It will now bring up a list of all of your dropbox folders. Just double tap on where you want to save the file. * You will find a save button near the bottom of the screen, just double tap it to start the export process.
