Hello everyone,
Ok, I never wanted to put this App on my Iphone. I don't use my Iphone for such things. I have a few games, mail accounts, the WalMart App, the Overstock App, TV Guide, and things of this nature. This is why I got an Ipad. I wanted my music programs and Bard, and such things like that on there. However, when Kliphton said what he said about the App on the Iphone, I felt I had to try it. I have a 5S, with the latest update. But I don't think that matters. Just thought I would point this out. Anyway, I really dislike the App on my Ipad! It was very difficult to deal with, in part to the split screen. I found it very confusing, and frustrating. So I will be removing it. Now I will leave it on my Apple tv. Even though, I still struggle with it on there, to a good degree. But I believe I will get better at figuring it out. Now I don't know if this is really accurate or not. But I read on the reviews of the App, that if you still have an Apple 3rd generation, you can air play the App on to your tv. I still have one of these in my living room, for now. So I like the fact that I could watch stuff with my sighted roommate. When we tried this with the Ipad last night, he saw no picture, just info, and buttons. That was odd to me. Now I do really love the App on my Iphone. I find it so much easier to use. I do wish, as everyone else, that the channels were labeled. This would make it so much easier to add the channel to your favorites. I have noticed that it does go in alphabetical order, which is nice. But who can memorize all that? I know it starts with A&E. I haven't checked out the networks tab yet, to see what I may get. But I do want to do this. I did add some channels to my favorites list. But I didn't like the fact that I had to try and remember how many channels I had to go from the last channel I added, once I found another channel. That was really a pain in the you know what. As for searching for channels, this is great! So far I have found what I am looking for. At first, I had a hard time finding the channels option. I kept seeing shows and movies. But I did manage to find it. But what I can't figure out, and don't get, is this. Once I search for a channel and play it, I can't seem to add it to my favorites. Does anyone know why this is? If so, how can I go about doing this? What am I missing? I mean, the whole idea of finding a channel, is to get it added to your favorites. Anyway, I'm choosing to stick with this App for a while. Now that I know that right now it works best on my Iphone, so far. Even if this wasn't what I wanted. Thank you for reading. I realize it was kind of long.
