Hi Ryan and Pablo,

I wouldn't even attempt to guess why Apple does what it does, you can speculate
but you may totally miss the point and you'll never find out. I think, Pablo,
you know from previous complaints you had with respect to what you can do with
your phone, how Apple downloads updates to your phone automatically and how
they don't allow you to downgrade unless it's within a few days or a week of
when a new iOS version first comes out that they do as they please. Steve Jobbs
is famous for his attitude which basically was that people/consumers don't know
what they want until he/Apple tells them what they need and offer them a device
that does it. You can discuss, argue and complain forever, but that is the way
it is and if you own Apple devices you either take it or you go elsewhere. I
know from our private emails that you, Pablo, did go to Android for a while and
realized that while you have more freedom to do things, the grass on the
Android side of the fence is not greener which I assume is why you are back on
iOS.
I think in time there will be a version of Safari for the Apple TV and maybe
third-party browsers. Personally I don't think I'd use it a lot for browsing
and I doubt I would use it for email, after all, why would I do these things on
the Apple TV when I can do them perfectly well on my iPhone or a PC. You can
tell me what you want, but I would bet any amount that I can browse faster and
do email faster on my PC with Jaws than you can on an iOS device. I use my
iPhone to look at email and read it and if I'm out and about I will use it to
reply to an email or send one, but I'd never do this if I had my PC next to me
at home or in the office.

Regards,
Sieghard

Maybe Apple wants people to purchase a Mac or iPhone/iPad for email and web
browsing.

Most smart TVs allow users to browse on internet, and some smart Tv allow users
to read emails. It doesn’t make any sense.

No, Apple has not brought Safari to the Apple TV 4th Generation and so far has
apparently not allowed third party developers such as Google or Firefox to make
browsers for the Apple TV.
