No, just type the name of the animal, person or object and then switch to the emoji keyboard. As soon as you switch to the emoji keyboard and then touch the editable text area, your focus should already be on the emoji rodar item, but there's no harm in swiveling back and forth just to be sure. The emoji rodar item is not something that would be listed in VoiceOver settings. If you have typed an emoji representation and switch to the emoji keyboard, then this item will automatically appear in your rodar.
