As I said before, you may want to fall back on good old-fashion paper and snail mail. Find out the address of their main office, wirte a letter to the CEO and send it registered mail, those have to be signed for and are not as easy to ignore as an email or a live chat with some guy in the Philippines or India whose call centre was hired to provide tech support. Also, as Mark pointed out, using Direct TV's social media accounts like Facebook and Twitter to put forward the case for accessibility is also effective and a good idea.
