Grade I, or uncontracted, Braille isn’t the same as Computer braille. So you’d
have the file in pure uncontracted braille format.

Just to be clear, BARD braille books are not and never have been designed to be
read by anything but a braille display. In fact, when using a braille display,
you have to set it to uncontracted braille because if you try and use
contracted braille it is attempting to contract things that are already
contracted. To have a device read one of their brf files, it would have to be
set to read computer code out loud, since, for example, the symbol for "t h e"
is an exclamation mark, 'it would have to know that when it comes across an
exclamation mark to speak that as those letters instead of treating it as a
punctuation mark.
What about looking for the same title on Bookshare.

files into Dropbox and export it from there into Voicebraille reader. Then in
Voicebraille you need to turn voiceover off once you press the sxpeak button to
begin reading. It's not fancy or perfect but does work and isn't difficult once
you get the hang of it. Let me know if you need more help. For Tim, I think I
got to it from the Appleviz site but it was a bit tricky to find so maybe a
Google search? Of course, it may be removed, will try to find out later.

and I can't find it on my phone, it looks like that is no longer there. Thanks
