I am not a Twitter user, but hopefully all you guys who own Neatos can
accomplish something since the company at this point does not get
accessibility. I had emailed them also via their support page and received a
very ignorant reply. It is definitely necessary for somebody to get in touch
with somebody higher up and not just front line support people who are most
likely sitting in some call centre in India or the Philippines and have no clue
what you are talking about. I certainly will not invest this sort of money into
a product which may become completely inaccessible if the company puts out an
update without regard to accessibility, in that case I might as well just buy a
basic model which has no connectivity.

Good luck,
Sieghard

Hi Sandy,

I've direct mailed NeatoRobotics from within Twitter and received a response
they forwarded the request on to Engineering. I'm certainly glad to chime in if
we begin a campaign. I'm not skilled in the use of Twitter, so I'd appreciate
guidance from power users as well. Perhaps if we used a hash tag phrase within
our communications, we could amplify our efforts, but again, I'd like to await
guidance on how best to do this. I agree with starting out such a campaign ona
friendly and optimistic voice.

Keith

Subject: The Neato App and VO.

Hallo the list and, especially, the Neato owners!

I have been exchanging emails with their customer support, who have been
really helpful and tried to raise the issue of accessibility with their "Back
Office". Only to receive the response that "Unfortunately, VO is not compatible
with the App at the moment". So, facing an, apparent, brick-wall, it has been
suggested to me that I use the power of social networking. I imagine this could
be using their FaceBook page and Twitter. It seems that I would have a much
better chance of being heard and noticed through this, more public, medium.

Now, I am a "power user" of the iPhone, but have, till now, had little to
do with FB or Twitter, though, I do have accounts with both, using my iPhone 6.
So, what I am asking here is: are there any tips you could give me re finding
and commenting on the accessibility issue using these media? And, will any of
you who have or are even thinking about getting a Neato BotVac Connected, will
do likewise? I would suggest that we keep it nice and friendly, but with the
underlying assumption that this problem will be fixed ASAP!!

Sandy.
