Hi yes it is possible to purchase gift cards for iTunes and pay for them via Paypal from sites like www.paypal-gifts.com or Ebay. It would of course be nice to directly purchase gift cards and pay for them via Paypal in iTunes itself, but at least here in the UK it's not going to happen any time soon.
