Hi folks I want just to stress this. In fact, I am a bit disappointed in the services of Applevis. Indeed I know and accept it’s our own responsibility to update or not for new ios versions and in general at Applevis they do a great job! I know many betatesters out there post their comments immediately after a public release and so they did for the focus brail brand. But the postings about a general brail problem came out very late so that most brail users now do have serious problems about this. Some people that criticize my own personality to be very isolating and conservative in waiting for updating behaviour now know why I follow such a policy for myselves. And sometimes yes maybe they are right and I see myselves sometimes as a complainer thus so after a week or so I did the update like most of you. Now I wish I was much more careful and from this straight point now, I’ll never update again mostly good working ios versions for the next 2 or 3 months. Wait, wait, wait, accessibility is mostly lagging behind not only for ios but we must admit Apple had always done a fairly good job in this. Except for app replacement that works very great now, one could conclude better to be at ios9 then Ios10 at this very moment, certainly when using brail and some third-party apps. For Belgium for example: 2 important banking and provider apps have become totally inaccessible under ios10 and still are fairly accessible in ios9 with their latest app updates. Regards Davy

FYI In iOS 10.2, there is a significant delay between when something is typed using a braille display, and when VoiceOver puts that text on the screen. The grade of braille input does not change this delay, and it has been duplicated using both the UEB and US English translation tables. This also appears to impact all braille display models. A Focus, Braille Edge, Refreshabraille and Smart Beetle were all tested. -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
