Hi ezzie, When you get your phone, what you are going to do to get voice over started is to hit the "home button" 3 times quickly. The home button is a round button inset on the screen itself; it's the only button on the actual screen. Clicking the button 3 times quickly will start voice over talking. This is called the "triple click home" and is different from tapping on the screen itself.
