No, unless you use Be My Eyes or one of the apps where you get to speak with a live person. All other colour identifying apps aren’t worth the effort and time to download them in my opinion. The problem is that light conditions are not consistent enough to produce good results. A dedicated colour identifier like the Colorino has a hole/opening that is pressed right up against the fabric or whatever it is you want to identify, when you press the button an internal light comes on and you get a pretty consistent and accurate result. Maybe with advances in computer vision which apps like Tap Tap See and iDentifi are taking advantage of we’ll get better results down the road.
