All,

I'm running into an issue which I'm fairly sure has got to be an
intentional design, but it seems to be something Apple knows nothing
about. Here's the deal: if I switch the ringer on my phone off (i.e.
the "mute" button on the side) so I only get vibrations, something
very strange happens. If I get an incoming call while my phone is just
sitting out on a desk, the phone vibrates normally (a long vibration
that repeats). However, if the phone is in my pocket when I get an
incoming call, it only vibrates once extremely quickly and doesn't do
anything else. Obviously this causes some issues if I end up missing
calls. Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea what could be going
on?
