If according to your sighted help the Standscan isn't high enough there isn't much you can do excpet try to learn how to do it freehand, but cheques are tricky since they do have to be lined up pretty good. You could also try to make your own stand, you would have to have a patient sighted person who can try how high the phone needs to be and then help you make a stand out of a box which would work.

There is a deposit feature which you need to align the check. So far, I need my son to align the check. It seems that I need to triple click to shut voice over off. Is there a trick to this? I have a stand scan but, according to my son, it holds the check too high. If I can work this part of the deposit feature with my iPhone, the rest is easy.
