Hi jen, On one side of the iTunes card you will notice a sticky label which covers the 16-digit code. Peel the label away and you will feel some writing in an enclosed box. Place the card lengthwise on a table with this box facing you. Now place your iPhone on top of this box, widthwise. Hold the phone on the card for a few seconds before slowly lifting it away. You should now be good to go. Good luck. David
