Some other nice features of some Fit Bits is that you can set silent alarms. I don't use my alarm clock any more, and my wrist vibrating in the morning doesn't bother my wife nearly as much as the alarm clock did. I also get a vibrating alert when a phone call comes in. this is nice because I might not feel my phone vibrating in a coat pocket, but I'll always feel my wrist vibrate.

I have the Charge HR by the way. I get the heart rate monitoring and the sleep tracking.

Hi Jen,

None of the Fitbits are accessible in themselves, but they sync with an app
that is quite accessible. Through the app, you can find out ow many steps
you've taken, your resting heartbeat, whether you've met your goals, etc. You
need sighted assistance to pair the Fitbit with the app because a 4-digit code
appears on the Fitbit screen and you need to enter that. I also needed help
setting up the app because I couldn't adjust controls for setting my height and
weight.

If all you want to track is steps and distance, and you usually carry your
phone with you, you can just use the Health app on your phone. If you have an
iPhone 6 or later, it also keeps track of flights climbed. So you really don't
need a Fitbit unless you want to track sleep or swimming, get reminders to
move, or want a more expensive one that tracks heart rate.

I hope that helps.

Best,
Anna
