Hi Fanus, I highly doubt the Apple Pencil would be a very useful item for a blind user. I have never seen much discussion on the list about it hence assume it is not something people have bought. I think it is useful for sighted users who do a lot of drawing and maybe use technical programs for designing things, blueprints etc. It would probably be a waste of money.

If you have an iPad Pro you can do various things with this thing although I am not sure if it is of much use for a blind person. I don’t think it adds any functionality to the iPhone at this point or to older iPads. If you Google it or read the descriptions on the Apple website you probably get more detailed information. Steve Jobbs probably turned over in his grave when they first introduced this because when the iPhone and iPad first came out he always made a big deal out of how you don’t need a styless for these and how he just couldn’t understand why anybody would want such a thing.
