I'm not sure I can help. Are you using IMAP or POP? What makes you think you're seeing more messages on the iPod than on your PC? Are you talking about the number of messages in your in box? After archiving messages on your iPod, why do you think your number of messages aren't changing? Have you seen a message on one device and not the other?
