Keith, I apologize but think I might have omitted a step with my Apple maps instructions. After selecting the route and double tapping the estimated trip time at the bottom of the screen, another screen opens with a double row of buttons at the bottom with options like gas stations, dinner, and you should double tap on details. This opens the list of entire trip instructions but again, the list seems to time out and return to the map which seems like a bug.
