Okay, so here's what's going on. I'm running the latest version of iTunes 12 on my Windows 10 laptop. In order for me to have access to Apple Music, but Singh certain things, like TV shows that I've made into MP3s, onto my phone, this is the setup that I use. One. I go into Settings/Music/ICloud music library, and turn that off. I then connect my phone to my computer, and sync selected songs to my iPhone using the sink selected artists, albums, etc. checkbox. After disconnecting my iPhone, I didn't go back into settings and turn iCloud music library back on. I'm asked whether I want to delete or keep the music on my iPhone, and I select keep. Here's where the problem comes in. Not everything has synced to my phone. Most things have, but I'm missing certain items, and I'm missing those same items consistently. I'm super confused, to say nothing of annoyed! For the record, an Apple rep walked me through how to do this, since for some reason, tracks weren't uploading to my iCloud Music Library from my computer correctly. Also, I didn't want everything in my library to be synced to my phone via iCloud Music Library, only some things, and I gather you can't do that.
My second issue is, how in the world does fixing tags in iTunes 12 now work? This used to be so easy and iTunes 11, and now it's really confusing! I can't get anywhere with it! I find that if I use another program, such as Mp3 Tag, to update tag info, then open iTunes, nothing refreshes. I've even tried the trick of selecting all the tracks in the library, opening the Get Info dialogue, then hitting OK to force the library to refresh, but that hasn't worked, either. I had to resort to deleting the tracks, then re-adding them. I don't want to have to keep doing this, that's why I'm wondering how the Get Info dialogue works now. Any help on either of these issues would be greatly appreciated! I'm going nuts over here! Thanks, Ari -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
