Just to offer a balanced perspective, I detest Nearby Explorer. I don’t regret
the purchase. I was happy to support the project, but as an app, the Nearby
Explorer is cluttered, not at all intuitive, more complicated than it needs to
be for turn by turn directions, and the accuracy is hit or miss. I’ll write a
more detailed blog post about it, but I would think twice before plunking down
eighty dollars. I think between BlindSquare and Google Maps and/or Apple Maps,
you’re going to be getting better results for a whole lot less money.

Nerby Explorer has been one of the best apps I have used. It's a bit expensive,
but I honestly don't regret buying it. It certainly helps out with unfamiliar
areas. I've used it once or twice during a time like that. It's very handy,
despite the price. Oh yeah, it does rquire at least 4 gigs of your device space
to work properly when downloading the maps and the like. Hope this helps
