Hi,

I've already given you a step by step for backing them up. iShshit is
a good option which I had forgotten about; this lets you email them to
yourself if you want to store them locally.
Their usefulness depends on your device, but essentially, you can
stitch the blobs to an ipsw using redsn0w and then restore to it or
use tinyumbrella to make a fake local signing server.
This sort of thing is way too complicated for a step by step since it
depends drasticly on the device. I'm sure that Google will be able to
help.

Cheers,
Ben.
