Hello everyone, On a whim, I decided to see if I could use our Ketonix breath ketone metre without sighted help. It’s the basic model without the computer interface. While charging, it flashes, and the Light Detector app detects the pulses. I had to use a colour identifier without using the flash to read the coloured section, but it worked very well. So, if anyone else is on a ketogenic diet and would like to check on their ketones, even the basic model of the Ketonix is accessible. A ketogenic diet is helpful for anyone with insulin resistance, epilepsy, many inflammatory conditions, or undergoing treatment for most cancers. We bought the Ketonix when my husband was being treated for oesophageal cancer from which he recovered completely. Cheers,
