KNFB Reader is the best. But, if $99.99 is out of reach, TextGrabber does a good job for less than $10. It just doesn't have all the features. iDentifi can also get text, but involves several steps. HTH, Richard

For now it ended up getting deleted off my iPhone as did OneNote which is reasonably accessible, but I still find it hard to use and could not find where I could read text notes I typed. Again, an updated Podcast on OneNote by somebody who has mastered it might be in order and of course for me OneNote would only be truely valueable if it was fully accessible on my PC as well as my iOS device.
