Hi Jed, The first time I tried to use Uber with a friend, the driver wanted to put my guide dog in her trunk. There was a language barrier so I took other transportation that day. Now I carry a piece of heavy vinyl or oil cloth that is a little over 2 by 3 feet. When the driver pulls up I open the door and say my dog never rides on the seat as I lay out my cover partly on and down the front of my seat and on the floor before I get in. They are very appreciative. Good luck.
