Hi Wayne, Does it pop up for you when you are doing 2-finger double taps? I just tried various hard presses and nothing seems to bring up the item chooser except a very pronounced 2-finger triple tap. In any case, you can't turn it off or disable it and all you can really do is practice your gestures so you can consistently do the ones you want avoiding the ones you don't want.
