Hi Sieghard, So how do they change one of the phones to a different Apple ID without losing the contact on that phone?

I think in the long run it is a much cleaner way of doing things, if they use the same Apple Id for iCloud then this also means their free 5 Gb storage is shared by them when it comes to backups etc. I think of an Apple Id a bit like as a phone numbr and they wouldn’t want the same phone number of both of their iPhones even if that were possible, at least most people wouldn’t want that. They both put in the same Apple ID in their phones not thinking that would share all there contact and apps. Is there a way to change the Apple ID on one of their iPhones and keep his contact? If he changes the Apple ID will that cause him to lose all his contacts. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
