Greetings. I am having some random issues with my old iPhone 4 which
I've had for about 2 years. In the last week or so, Voiceover has
stuttered a few times in certain places, once when someone called me
the ringtone stuttered, or would start and then stop a second later
and then start again, and the phone seems to have moments when it
hick-ups when doing some processes. I can't pin point this to certain
things or applications, since it happens randomly. I remember that
when checking in on Foursquare last night, it said, "check in here
button button button" before I was able to double tap the button and
continue with the check-in process. I've got the phone nearly full
with music and Audible books, along with apps and other random things.
Is this just a case of the phone slowing down with use, or is there
something I can do to improve the situation? I've tried rebooting the
phone and unloading then reloading VoiceOver with no change. I've
ordered an iPhone 5 and really hope that it comes soon so I can move
up in hardware to the faster processor and things. I've also tried
deleting some of the apps I no longer use hoping that would change
things, but no luck. I've got an iPhone 4 with iOS 5.1.1. Finally,
with all of these random issues I'm having, is it worth upgrading to
iOS 6 in hopes that it will fix the issues, or are the issues worth
worrying about with the new phone coming soon? I really don't want to
reset everything and restore to an older backup with the old phone,
since the new one is on its way. Though it won't be shipped for
another week or two.

take off most of your apps and books. See what it does.!
