It depends what you want to spend on them. I usually go to Ben's bargains and find my headphones there. currently, I am using $300 headphones that I bought for $30.
these cool headphones, and people have commented on how cool they look, cup entirely over the ear and muffle out all noises. electronic noise cancellation filters out many other external sounds. It is so good that I can be in a subway tunnel here in Chicago and 15 feet away from the train and not be interrupted in listening to my audio book or podcast. I barely hear the eight car train in front of me with hundreds of people on board.
