Hi Keith, Go to Settings > Mail, then tap on the top button with your account or accounts. Once that opens you see your accounts listed, then there is an "Add Account" button and if you swipe right once past that (last item on the screen) you find "Fetch new data", this should be set to "Push" if you want mail to be delivered immediately. I assume you have your account set up as an Exchange account so that definitely supports push, I don't think gmail does at least not with the native mail app.

Hi, I’ve looked everywhere within Settings, it seems, and I can’t find the answer to this question. Can the frequency with which Mail is downloaded to the phone be changed? I’m sure I used to get Mail messages delivered upon receipt, but now I’m getting messages that Mail sent 13 minutes earlier has been received. Or 3 minutes, or 9 minutes. My old phone now being used as an iPod announces all Mail messages immediately, but the iPhone 7 running 10.3 has the delay. Any help appreciated.
