Thankfully my update went fine without any problems. It got stuck on 96% as
others mentioned here too, but it finished the process shortly after without
me having to do anything. I did get the whole set up iPhone prompt after my
phone turned on which kind of concerned me at first thinking I had to start
from scratch as far as settings and so on, but after entering through the
few promptsabout location tracking, Apple ID and so on, everything came up
fine and unlike some others who have mentioned, the entire structure of my
phone, folders, screen and all was unchanged. I'm currently updating 6 apps
that showed up right away in the app store.

One thing though, maybe I'm missing it, but does anyone know where the
option to switch between the compact and high quality voice went? I can't
find it anywhere in Accessibility or within the VoiceOver options. VO sounds
a bit different to me. As though Samantha is about to cry or if she's got a
lugy in her throat and thought that maybe the voice settings got switched,
but again, I can't find that particular option to check if it was somehow
swithced to the high quality voice instead of the compact that I prefer.

Anyway, all in all, updating was painless on my 4S on WiFi.

Yeah, problem with mines is that I'm out of town and using the 3G on my
phone to tether with my Mac and use WI FI through my computer because of the
download limit on the phones data plan. Normally I would just download via
the phone only.
