I couldn't find a "further options" button, to confirm that I didn't want a
passcode, but "continue"
eventutally led me to entering the security Apple id password that I have
bracketted with my email
address which, I think, is different to a passcode.
However, the hole that I am digging for myself appears to be getting deeper,
because, I am required
to update my access to the ICloud where all my iphone activity, such as it is,
will be stored so it
can be accessed by all my other Apple devices, of which I have, precisely,
zero. Therefore, I
turned off the cloud, but the iPhone isn't happy about that, and what is this
blasted iCloud Drive
thing that it is rabbitting on about? and why should I want to make an
emergency call? Much more of
this garbage and it will be to the men in white coats who will cart me off as a
hopeless gibbering
idiot!
