Hello Larry, I re-read your original post and, try as I may, I cannot reproduce your issues.
The app is working perfectly for me on an iPhone 6 Plus running the latest version of iOS. I sync the app with my Feedly service. This is to say, I do not use the app as a stand-alone feed aggregator.
