I now have both! I’ve been a big Bespecular fan for about a year now. I downloaded the Be My Eyes app yesterday, and used it for the first time this morning. Way Cool and very fast indeed!

I also didn’t know that Bispecular is an app from south Africa. Anyhow, for those who are not signed up to get their emails and who want to read them, here are both of them. We noticed that you signed up to Be My Eyes but you have not made your first call yet. You can make your first call today if you are in a situations where some visual assistance could be useful. So whether you need support distinguishing between household products, navigating, reading instructions, or help with a technical difficulty - our volunteers are here for you. Did you know that there is no limit to how much you can use Be My Eyes? Right now there are over half a million sighted helpers in the Be My Eyes community who are ready and willing to assist you. We would like to stress that you can, and should, feel free to make calls as frequently as you wish without ever disturbing anyone. In fact, we have many eager volunteers who are still waiting to receive their first help request, so you can use Be My Eyes as much as you possibly want!
