hi,
I find that some apps are real battery hogs and so, once used, I'll best 
removed from the app switcher. for example, I was just using a barcode reading 
app called NeoReader and found my battery had gone right down really quickly to 
10%! KNFB reader is another such battery hog. also, if you're not using them, 
why not turn off some of your connectivity, such as Bluetooth or Wi-Fi? it is 
so easy to turn back on again! finally, I believe, if you have push 
notifications turned on, this will drain your battery to. so, it all comes down 
to choice. What do you want/need from your phone?
