Hi,
You shouldn't have to turn off push notifications in any other twitter
client. You might want to check that they're not only turned on under the
settings in the tweetings app itself but also that it registered properly I
believe registration is right in that area of the app. then make sure its
notifications are turned on in the notifications subsection of the phone's
own settings area.
then for fun send a tweet from tweetings app or reply to one sometimes that
makes their servers spring into action or at least it has in previous years.
It couldn't hurt to try as well.

Yesterday Tweetings was on sale for a dollar (19 Mexican pesos) so I went
ahead and grabbed; I've had my eye on Tweetings since hearing Jonathan Mosen
review ut on Applevis, but it seems that Push notifications don't work.
Mighg I need to first turn off notifications in the native Twitter app? I
didn't want to, since I have certain followers who I get notifications from,
