Screen curtain doesn't save battery, though. It just covers the screen at whatever brightness it is set for. Locking the screen is the best way to save power, I think. that blanks out the screen, really, instead of just covering it with a curtain.

To turn screen curtain on is a three-finger triple tap.

Subject: S O S from Nancy and her SE

Hi All,

Last night when I went to bed my SE had 95% power; this morning it was
down to 54%.

Will someone please remind me how to turn the screen back on? I have it
blank right now. I use the SE mainly just to make phone calls.
The
only thing that I can think of that has changed is that I had my husband
add the update to my KNFB reader which I bought when it was on sale, but
have not used yet.

At this point the most important thing I need to know is how to get the
screen turned back on so my husband can see how to check things.

After that, I think I need to adjust the time before screen lock.

Please help us get started.

Many thanks,

Nancy and her SE
