I'm not Simon, but yes, TextGrabber is an OCR app for scanning and reading text. I would recommend you check out Prizmo Go which you can do scans for free if you just want a quick read of something. Then, if you want to be able to send or copy the text, it is the same price as TextGrabber. $4.99. Here are the links to both of them in the app store.
