I have Uverse as well. A lot of stuff in the easy remote app doesn't
work, but it is good for finding recordings on the dvr and starting
them. then you can use your actual remote to skip commercials. The
Uverse app is good for viewing recordings and determining their position
on the dvr so you can find them with your remote. Series recordings are
all grouped together, however single episodes show up as a separate
entry on the list. So lets say you record cat-fish as a series and some
Dr. Phil episodes that you select manually instead of a series. The Dr.
Phil episodes would be separate entries and cat-fish would be one entry
like a folder. So easy remote helps to start those individual episodes
of Dr. Phil that you have a hard time finding with the regular remote by
looking at the list in the uverse app and trying to count down using the
down arrow button.
