Mentioning in case this has anything to do with the problems people are having with Siri opening apps: over the past few days when I have tried to dictate, it has been happening that I get two tones with a knocking type sound when I try to start dictation in an iMessage or email on my iPod six GEN. I disabled Siri, and reset network settings at first; that didn't help. When someone told me that dictation could be disabled independently of Siri, since it says in privacy from what I gather, that the two are related, I disabled both dictation and Siri, turned off my device, then re-enabled dictation and Siri. I hope this sticks.
