call or message other Alexa users which I assume is what is happening, but

So is it just me or are others having issues getting the call feature to
work properly? I have the updated Alexa app on my phone but when I go to the
bottom of the screen, I don't see any communication or conversation tab. I
am in Canada though so that could explain it. However I installed an app
called Flyp which lets me make a US phone number which I did but when I went
on to the Amazon website it didn't text me a code to change the number.
Really wish I knew what I could do as I know a person who lives in
Australia, which they claim is one of the other countries other than Canada
the Echo doesn't support, yet he's got his working with calls. It just makes
me want to grab my hair and tear it out. Lol. Very frustrated.

What country are you in? The Amazon Echo devices are only officially
supported in the US, Germany and I can't remember if it is Australia
and/or the UK. I am in Canada and officially you can't buy an Echo here
and the Alexa app is not available in the canadian app store.
