Hi,
I eventually had to just give up the apps I had bought with my old apple ID.
When I changed IDs and e-mail addresses, there was no way to verify my old
apple ID. I also couldn't remember my security answers. I was pretty sure
I had the password right, but since I had given up the old e-mail address,
there was no way to get the confirmation e-mail.
I figure I gave up $50 at least in apps I'd bought.
If you solve this problem, I'd be interested in knowing how.
Thanks,
Lois

I signed in on the old one and changed it.

Rich,
When you said you "changed" your Apple Id, does this mean you registered a
new one or did you log in with the old one and change the email address to
be a different email address?

It sounds like those apps were gotten with the old Apple ID.
If Apple didn't move everything to the new account, I'd called Apple
Accessibility and see if they can't sort that out.
That sounds very much like an Apple caused problem.
I hope it works out.

Subject: Old Apple ID Showing Up in App Store
I changed my Apple ID and password at least a year ago in all the
sections, including iTunes and App stores, and this is confirmed in
Settings. I just attempted to update several apps in the App Store, but
it showed the old Apple ID and wanted the old password, which I cannot now
seem to enter correctly. First, I don't understand why the old Apple ID
is coming up now, when the change to the new Apple ID is clearly indicated
in the Settings. Second, is there any solution to this problem?
