If you open up a Web page in Safari, and invoke the item chooser, then when you do a three finger flick to the right, you will get a choice of links, headings, or form controls. With one of those in focus, when your right or left flick with one finger, you will move them on the items of that particular type, although the actual heading link or form control will not be announced as such. You'll just hear the words, not the type of control. Since there aren't headings on the home screen or form controls, or probably links, it's understandable why this would have no effect in that case. Mary
