Hello all,
I have a new phone here that I will want to use an I Tunes backup to
transfer info to from the old phone. What possibly could go wrong? What
order should I do this?
In the simplest way, I assume I can hook the new phone up to the
computer, open I Tunes and hope the phone is recognized. From there, I will
look for the restore button or something like that. I imagine I'll be walked
through some choices. Is it that simple to start?
I know what I am supposed to do with the old phone before I swap it
out and send it back, but setting up a new phone from the old one might be
more complicated than I remember. I must have done something like this when
I retired the 4S and got the 6.
Any tips would be appreciated. As it is the 6 is on but it keeps
telling me I have no service. At Verizon's end, I definitely have service
with them. I already reset network settings once but am reluctant to keep
doing that, especially now that I have the new phone here. Should I give it
a try pronto? I'm hesitating.
