. Do you have some books on your phone other books on your iPad? That could be 
a problem. I think the instructions for the iCloud sync say something about 
needing to have an empty library on a device but I don't remember. Frankly, 
while cloud sync with something I was so looking forward to, I have had nothing 
but problems, big ones, ever since  that feature
