3) You may have to turn on and off hotspot, to be seen again, at
least I do with my note takers, although she could always just
plug it in with USB. 2) If she moves away, as long as she's
within a certain amount of range, the phone and laptop stay
connected.
1) She'll have to enter the key, if she chooses the wireless,
over the USB option.

1. Will her computer connect automatically after the initial set
up?
2. When she takes the phone with her away from the computer, is

without her doing anything about it?
