Hi Andy,

Sorry, but I don’t know.

If this description of how it looks helps you:

It looks like a capital print letter D, and the speaker is in the middle of the
vertical bar. The cord exits from the middle of the semi-circular portion, so
it’s behind your ear.

You pull your ear through the space which is the inside of the Capital D, and
the speaker ends up resting over the ear canal, the semi-circular portion is
behind your ear, and the vertical bar is in front of your ear. It does not
rely on bone conduction.

Hth,

Chip

Hi all,

Just wanted to share that I found an external earphone for just one ear from C.
Crane which is great for being able to listen to a voice (such as GPS
instructions) while still allowing ambient sounds to easily be heard.

It’s very comfortable, it has an extra strong cable and firm mounting on your
ear. It’s $10 from C. Crane at the link below:

I am really pleased with this. Also, as best as I can judge, it should work
with a hearing aid … even if the aid sticks out of the ear, the external
speaker of this easily can be pushed outward and still fit comfortably and
securely.

I read about this in the new book from Judy Dixon (from NBP) called “Go Where
You Want to Go” (although she says you should be able to get it from Pirkins, I
wasn’t able to).

Chip
